Over the past few months I worked extremely hard to update all of setting’s policies and procedures, and created new policies and procedures related to the recent Covid-19 outbreak. I invested a lot into innovations and PPE in order to provide safe environment for the children in my care. It has been a tough period of time but I managed to complete all works in time and to the highest standard. Unfortunately, due to the changes in everyone’s personal circumstances, gradually, I ended up with no children to look after and with a very uncertain future for me as a childminder. As a result of this, I had to make a life changing decision and look into other options. It is with a deep regret to say that Marbles will be temporarily closed. After school: 3:15 – 6:15pm (5yo +) … 2 spaces
Breakfast & school drop off: 6:30am – 9am … 2 spaces
School holiday spaces: P/T or F/T … 2 spaces
Government funded (Jan 2020):
15hrs Tue – Thr: 9am – 2pm (2, 3, 4yo) … 1 space (days may vary)
30hrs Tue – Thr: 8am – 6pm (2, 3, 4yo) … 1 space

The following table shows when you can claim the free childcare for 3 and 4 year old:

1st January and 31st March Summer Term (after Easter holidays)
1st April and 31st August Autumn Term (September)
1st September and 31st December Spring Term (January)
The 15 and 30 hours funding is available for eligible children between 8:30am and 2:30pm, Monday to Friday.

If your child was born between 1st September 2011 and 31st August 2012, you must apply for a primary school place for September 2016.

Qualifying children are eligible for the Summer Term 2015 if they were born between 1st April 2012 and 31st March 2013.
Summer term: 13th April 2015 – 22nd July 2015 (13 weeks)

If your child has their second birthday between the 1st September and 31st December 2014 they will be eligible to take up the FREE Entitlement to Early Years Education and Childcare from January 2015.

Children born between 1st September 2009 and 31st August 2011 will qualify for the Autumn term funding entitlement.
Autumn term: Wednesday 3rd September 2014 – Friday 19th December 2014.
